Destination Imagination Is Back at Elm School – Join the Fun!
Are your kids bursting with creativity, curiosity, and a love for teamwork? Then they won’t want to miss this year’s Destination Imagination (DI) program—a thrilling, student-led adventure in creative problem-solving! DI challenges students to work in teams to solve open-ended problems using imagination, innovation, and collaboration. Guided by parent volunteers (Team Managers), students take full ownership of their solutions—every idea and decision comes from them! Last year, one of our teams made it to the Global Finals, competing with students from around the world. Let’s keep the momentum going!
What to Expect:
- Teams (per grade) meet after school or on weekends, based on team availability
- Students lead the creative process from start to finish (competition in March)
- Parent volunteers help guide and support—but kids make all the decisions
- Challenges are rooted in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math)
